Masen Sharpe

AIS Field Assistant

Masen is from Ontario, NY, and grew up spending most of his time in the outdoors. His love for the outdoors led him to study Environmental and Natural Resource Conservation at SUNY E.S.F Ranger School right here in the Adirondacks. As a student at the Ranger School, he completed intensive hours of technical field work and data collection in fields such as conservation, forestry, and some surveying. Throughout his time at the Ranger School, he realized how important pursuing a career in conservation was to him. He was able to learn the importance of aquatic species research in college and through spending most of his free time fishing. Outside of work, Masen can be found doing the activities he loves such as hunting, hiking, or just casually birding.
