Patrick is originally from Halfmoon, NY, and would spend his summers in the Adirondacks with his family. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2019 with a degree in Ecology, while developing a strong interest in Botany, Forestry, and Conservation Biology. While taking Wetlands and Freshwater Ecology classes at Miner Institute, Patrick gained hands-on experience working with aquatic invasive species and a greater understanding of the mitigation process. He spent the last two summers in Saranac Lake working as an environmental educator for the NYSDEC and looks forward to bringing his skills and knowledge to Adirondack Research. Patrick enjoys hiking, camping, photography, and birding in his free time.
