Our recent paper is titled “Supercooling points of diapausing forest tent caterpillar (Lepidoptera: Lasiocampidae) eggs”
New research paper published in the Canadian Entomologist. What did we find? An insect’s ability to withstand freezing is dependent on where it came from (population source), and where it overwintered (we moved them around the Great Lakes states during winter).
