Justin Wolford

Director of Field Operations

Justin graduated from Siena College in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Studies and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Natural Resources and Ecology at SUNY Plattsburgh. His professional and academic experience focuses on invasive species management, GIS and mapping, and the protection and management of natural resources, with particular expertise in aquatic ecosystems and aquatic invasive species.

Justin helps lead aquatic and terrestrial invasive species management projects throughout the Northeast. His role spans project planning and coordination through implementation in the field, including organizing field operations, leading crews, coordinating with clients and project partners, and overseeing data collection, mapping, monitoring, and reporting. As a licensed pesticide applicator, Justin combines hands-on field experience with project leadership, helping carry projects from initial planning and permitting through treatment, implementation, and long-term monitoring.

Originally from the Finger Lakes, Justin grew up spending time on the water and camping with his family in the Adirondacks. Those experiences helped develop his interest in conservation and natural resource management and eventually led him to become an Eagle Scout. Outside of work, Justin enjoys exploring the Adirondacks, spending time on the water, traveling, and adventuring with his dog.
