Adirondack Research donates 1%

As a way to continually give back to our community and to the organizations we wish to support, Adirondack Research donates 1% of  net profits to 4 organizations. We give equally to one organization in each of four categories: 1)Local, 2)Environmental, 3)Health , and 4)The Arts .

This year we gave to the following groups:

Local: Dewy Mountain Recreation Center

We are helping to support the contruction of a new base lodge for the Dewey Mountain Recreation Center. See http://www.deweymountain.com/capital-campaign.html for more details on their project.

Environmental: Ausable River Association

Health: Development in Gardening (DIG)

DIG’s mission is to improve the nutrition and health of HIV-affected and at-risk populations through sustainable gardening. They do this by training people in agriculture and nutrition and providing resources to create projects that empower communities to meet their own needs. The Arts: Sound of America
