We created our partner company Green Goat Maps after we discovered the need for beautiful, useful maps through our environmental research. Green Goat Maps emphasizes responsible recreation and environmental stewardship by partnering with likeminded environmental organizations to promote principles like Leave No Trace. Other examples of aspects included on the maps are proper etiquette for publicly accessible trails, how to prevent the spread of invasive species, and information and regulations specific to the areas covered in each map. We have partnered up with the Barkeater Trails Alliance, the Adirondack Land Trust, and The Nature Conservancy Adirondacks to produce our maps and are continuing to expand and grow.
