Gage graduated from Paul Smith’s College in Spring 2023 with his B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences, with a concentration in wildlife. He grew up in the small town of Alburgh, VT, a peninsula in Lake Champlain. During his childhood he was constantly outdoors, hiking, fishing, and hunting in both Vermont and New York, which started his passion for wildlife and conservation. During his time at Paul Smith’s, he was a Resident Assistant in one of the buildings on campus, Lambert House, as well as working at the on-campus library. In past summers he worked as a Decontamination Technician for the Adirondack Watershed Institute and as a maintenance worker at a DEC campground. In his free time Gage likes to spend time kayaking and fishing, as well as hiking at the VIC trails and the numerous mountains in the area. Gage hopes to attend graduate school in the future to gain a M.S. in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Ecology.
